The Lakehouse & The Table
It is safe to say...I love to entertain. Whether I’m feeding a basketball team, my husband's subcontractors, a youth group or a special dinner party - I love putting it all together. I love pairing food with wine while dining in a beautiful surrounding. I enjoy creating a table setting with linens, herbs or flowers from my garden and seasonal accent plates to make it Ina or Martha approved. And I love the newest kitchen gadgets and decor. I love seeing a canister filled with stainless utensils and a blue and white striped spatula in the middle that color jumps to your table runner or pillows on your sofa. I will never be an avid cook like my mom, but I'm going to make certain my presentation will make you believe I am! Since our local kitchen shop relocated years ago, I have missed having a store at my fingertips. I have ordered kitchen items online and quickly returned them because my expectations exceeded the product I received. I missed being able to pick up and feel the linens or hold the stemware before purchasing. I longed to go into a store and find authentic pieces that you cannot find online or at a big-box store.
